Well it works.  Either i fixed it (unlikely) or i broke it to the point it appears to work (probably).  The warning light never comes on bu tthe belt stays latched down and releases.  I never did get the button out so it is still wedged up in there somewhere. There was no way to take the thing apart so i hat to just poke and prod with long skinny piesec of metal for a while.   I may still have to replace the thing but at least for now it has allthe appearancesof fixed and as it is not necessary for the proper mechanical functioning of the vehicel that is good enough for me until I can afford the time and money to fix it properly.  I refuse to pay the dealership to do this as i should be more than able to performt his surgery myself.

Bad morning

Ok so a freakin 50 cent button may end up costing me over $100.00.  That is how i love to start my morning.

I went out and got in the car this morning only my seat-belt would not latch.  i fumble around with it for a few minutes only to discover that the reason that it will not latch is that a button has fallen down into the seat-belt and lodges itself there.   Great i think.  Only then i start to wonder where the button came from.  I check my back pocket and bingo the button is missing.

I am now late for work and have to drive to work with the seat belt constantly sliding out  as it will not latch.  At work i do remove the stupid seat-belt bingy warning so that until i get the button out or replace the latching mechanism it will not yell at me.  I have now priced replacement parts in case i break the latch trying to get the button out.  $104.00.  not including shipping.  Merry Christmas to my car.

Well i will spend my evening seeing if i can get the button out and not break the latch.  I don't really care if i break the freakin button.  i can replace it it for $.50.

Well now that i am late to work i better do something that looks productive.

OK so me brother, aka the best man, has got the Bahelor/last hurahh weekend set for this coming weekend.  I am going ot leave work early on friday and then we all (i do not know the who yet) are heading down to the beach.

I have no idea who will be ther or what we will be doing but my guess is drinking and pillaging will be in the mix.  i also suspect that the usual suspects will be involved along with captain M coming in from the mountains and the LT getting in for some R&R on saturday.

If i live throuhg this I guess i wasn't trying hard enough.

hehe

I wonder where the "messiah" is and why the economy has not improved already. My in box is full and I am booked through the month of November. The road ahead is showing all the signs of being the autobahn to financial hell. Well at least that keeps me and fuzzies in Kibble.
